Social Lab privacy notice

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Who we are

D3ZYNE Social Lab is operated by Matthew Eluwande, trading as D3ZYNE, who is the data controller. Postal contact address: Studio 3, Unit 12, Alston Works, Alston Road, Barnet, London EN5 4EL. Contact: matthew@eluwande.com.

What we collect and why

We collect your name, email address, interest category (workshops, volunteering or partnerships) and any optional message to respond to your enquiry and plan the proposed Social Lab initiative. Do not include sensitive personal information or details about children.

Lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests to respond to enquiries you choose to send and to understand demand for the proposed Social Lab. We limit this to contact information and your stated interests. We have considered that you would reasonably expect a reply when submitting the form, and you can object to this use of your information. Optional promotional emails are sent only when you separately opt in, on the lawful basis of consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us. We will not use a workshop enquiry alone as permission for promotional emails.

Storage and sharing

Form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms and available to authorised D3ZYNE site administrators. We do not sell registration information. Netlify, Inc. and its service providers may process or access submitted information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Netlify provides a Data Processing Agreement describing its international transfer safeguards, including contractual protections where applicable. See Netlify’s data protection information and Trust Center. If we correspond with you by email, your messages may also be processed by our email service provider. We do not publish registrations or sell the data.

How long we keep information

We aim to delete inactive enquiries after 12 months from the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing enquiry or legal obligation. We review marketing contacts at least every 12 months and delete them when consent is withdrawn or the information is no longer needed. Delete records from Netlify and any exported copies when retention ends. We will not retain personal information longer than necessary for the stated purposes.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. Email matthew@eluwande.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Security and complaints

We restrict access to registration information and use account security controls. If you are dissatisfied with our response to a privacy request, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Updates

We will update this notice if our activities or data processing change. Registering interest does not reserve a workshop place.
